Our Vision and Values

Our aim is to become a UK leading network for providing tax advice and solutions, and working to the framework of our core values is crucial to achieving our vision.

Our core values, chosen by our staff, are what define us and what we strive towards. Not only do they guide the way our employees work with each other, but they also influence the service that we strive to give our clients and how we grow as a network.

Our Charities

We have supported various charities and causes over the years, by giving up our time, for example our charity bike build for disadvantaged children, and also by making financial contributions to local charities and fundraisers, as well as those charities connected to our people and our clients.

Our most recently appointed chosen charities through majority staff vote are Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and The Great North Children’s Hospital.

Both Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Great North Children’s Hospital rely on charitable donations to enable them to buy the most up-to-date medical equipment. It is with this in mind we have set an ambitious fundraising target of £70,000, which will be divided equally between the two charities. This money will enable each of the Children’s hospitals to purchase medical equipment which will help to save lives. 

In order to raise funds, we are holding various fundraising events. Our first fundraising challenge ‘Qubic Take To The Street To Save Little Feet’ saw us swapping our suits for boots as staff walked in teams over a 22 stage route from The Great North Children’s Hospital, Newcastle, to Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Our Christmas event saw us take on an ‘Apprentice’ style challenge to stock and run a market stall at London’s Spitalfields Market. 

Employee Development and Wellbeing

We recognise that our people are central to our success. We are accredited with the Investors in People gold award, and continue to work to the Investors in People framework to maintain our commitment to developing and supporting our people. We understand that getting the best out of our employees helps us to give the best service to our clients.

Excellent client service is paramount to our success, growth and development, and we seek to continuously improve our offerings. We are committed to ensuring that all staff are presented with opportunities to reach their full potential, through personal development, training and coaching to achieve their goals.

Learning and Development

We recognise the value of professional development and personal growth for our employees. We employ a range of experts, and focus on learning and development and staff involvement; cascading best practice through every level of our organisation. We operate a culture of openness and honesty, prompted by our largely open plan office environment and ‘open door’ policy.

We offer equal opportunities for career progression, supporting and encouraging all members of staff to engage in professional training and courses to develop their skills, knowledge and strengths.  Our staff are currently studying a range of professional qualifications and working towards the next level of professional development, including ATT, CTA and CIM. 

Benefits and Social Activities

We recognise those staff who promote our core values through a bi-monthly Employee Award - staff nominate a member of staff who they feel has displayed any or all of the four core values. We also reward our staff to commensurate with the achievements of the businesses. We celebrate staff birthdays and exam success, and we also have various social activities and network wide team building events, to name but a few our ‘Fake Identity’ mystery solving day and ‘London Black Cab Challenge’ team building day.  

Environment and Sustainability

We take our commitment to the environment around us seriously and recognise the impact we can have on the environment. We have a number of environmental policies in place. These include:

  • Staying in touch with our clients via e-newsletters rather than printed copies
  • Use of video conferencing for meetings requiring long distance journeys
  • Bike racks and shower facilities for those wishing to cycle to work
  • Recycling
  • Paperless sales invoicing
  • Reducing energy consumption with reminders to switch off lights
  • Travelling by train where possible
